I live in Richmond, VA with my husband and two rescue dogs, Heather and Joe.

Growing up in a military family, I traveled the world, following my father on his assignments, and completed my education in Europe and the United States.

After decades of career-chasing and child-raising, I now spend my time drawing, painting, writing and gardening (not necessarily in that order), and teaching.

I cannot imagine life without a dog(s) and a garden.
